Wujud reptil lainnya mulai nampak tidak seperti dinosaurus. Mosasaurus, contohnya, memiliki kepala dinosaurus yang besar dan tubuh seperti ikan. Namun tidak semua reptil besar berubah bentuk. Yang terpenting, ini adalah zaman dari dinosaurus seperti Tyrannosaurus rex, pembunuh mengerikan dengan gigi tajam, seperti pisau.
